BADGE takes environmental conservation seriously and we focus on providing clients with innovative, sustainable and efficient building solutions for every project.
We are a member of the Green Building Council of Australia and support our employees to become accredited members to guide clients and site teams on best practice for sustainable design and building. Testimony to BADGE’s commitment to environmental sustainability is the increasing number of our projects to receive an optimum five-star rating for their environmental design and construction under the Green Building Council’s Green Star program.
As part of BADGE’s environmental management approach we work closely with waste management companies to separate materials being taken off site, maximise recycling and minimise waste in accordance with our waste management reporting and traceability protocols.
The KESAB (Keep South Australia Beautiful) organisation continues to be a valuable environmental partner with BADGE through the Clean Site® program. This initiative helps BADGE to deliver training to its people across all three states and consider a site’s environmental impact, allowing it to better implement strategies to protect the future of the environment. With KESAB’s support, BADGE has been able to adopt environmental management over and above government legislation and external authorities.
