This large-scale redevelopment was designed to service both retirees (public) with a modern retirement facility and the needs of the client (Minda) in providing more current and suitable housing for their residents.

This was the first Stage of the Minda Master Plan which will be rolled out over the coming years – with an estimated overall value of $200 Million.

Stage 1 of the project comprised of the following works:

  • Stage 1 A Retirement Apartments – 48 Apartments including an undercroftcar park and communal facilities
  • Stage 1 B Civil Works – Infrastructure services, stormwater and roadway
  • Stage 1 B Minda Residential Apartments – 17 Apartments including, office & communal areas
  • Stage 1 C Wetlands – Sedimentation pond, wetland, detention basin and infrastructure

The site project area was vast with each of the three stages having its own ‘site’ and Site Manager. It is also worth mentioning that the Minda Inc facility was fully operational during the construction of this stage and a lot of pre planning and close collaboration with the client occurred to ensure the safety of the staff and residents.
