  • Location Daw Park SA
  • Value $35M
  • Contract Hard Money

This project was a joint initiative between ACH Group and SA Health. BADGE effectively had two separate clients and delivered the project via two separate contracts.

The construction of the two buildings on the same site were designed independently but physically linked to provide operational synergies, efficiencies and consolidated facility benefits. Construction also took place whilst the remainder of the Repatriation General Hospital was in full operation.

The ACH Group component contains 60 residential places and a training unit which was developed in partnership with Flinders University providing more than 500 students from a range of disciplines including nursing, allied health, pharmacy and direct care simulated learning environments.

The SA Health component consisted of 40 transition care/flexible care beds, and 20 rehabilitation beds for elderly patients.

The award of this project to BADGE followed the successful completion of previous works on the Repatriation Hospital site.
