This state-of-the-art building combines several facilities under one roof, including the Katharine Susannah Prichard Library and a modern community hall.

The scope of work works comprised a new public library, lobby, two community halls, associated amenities, roof plant rooms, below ground  transformer and fire pump room enclosure, new carpark, and paving and retaining wall structures.

Demolition works were also included within the scope and involved the removal of the existing Boya Hall – which was clad in asbestos cement sheeting – court, site services, trees and topsoil material.

The adjoining existing tennis pavilion, tennis courts, change rooms and oval operational throughout the duration of the project.

The Shire of Mundaring undertook upgrade works to the oval concurrently with the Boya Community Hub construction with all works coordinated in line with the approved construction programme.

The Boya Oval was upgraded with new flood lighting, extended surface and a new water irrigation tank.
