Cardijn College’s Marian West development forms part of a significant campus expansion designed to accommodate future growth and provide students with contemporary, purpose-built learning environments. Located along Goldsmith Drive, the new Senior Learning Centre extends the existing Marian East campus further west and strengthens the College’s long-term educational infrastructure.

The facility incorporates a range of modern teaching and support spaces, including general learning areas, science laboratories, food technology facilities, administration offices, staff support areas, and student amenities. Extensive external works including landscaped surrounds, pedestrian pathways, and dedicated car parking were also delivered to improve accessibility and campus circulation.

A defining feature of the project is the pedestrian bridge connecting the Marian East and Marian West campuses. Spanning across an existing community walkway, it provides a safe and efficient connection for students while maintaining clear separation between school movement and public access routes.

Delivered under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) model, BADGE worked collaboratively throughout the design and construction phases to support project certainty, design efficiency, and successful project delivery. The project also included an Early Works package incorporating earthworks and in-ground services both to prepare the site for current works along with all future provisions to connect and facilitate further expansion scheduled by the College.

The completed development provides Cardijn College with a future-focused educational facility that enhances learning opportunities, improves campus connectivity, and supports the continued growth of the school community.

Recognition: This project received a High Commendation in the Commercial Construction ($25M-$60M) category at the 2026 SA/NT Australian Institute of Building Professional Excellence in Building Awards.
