The centre is a key destination for the Gold Coast’s southern corridor, featuring a contemporary community hub with a multipurpose hall, flexible spaces, and a dance studio. The existing 50 meter outdoor pool was integrated into the redesign.

The facility offers a variety of amenities, including adaptable community spaces, water facilities for school groups, recreational swimmers, lap swimmers, and therapy programs. It also features a heated indoor learn-to-swim pool, an indoor warm water program pool, a 25 meter outdoor pool, an upgraded fitness centre, family leisure areas and crèche.

The redevelopment created 363 local jobs and involved 49 South East Queensland suppliers. These features cater to a wide range of users, ensuring the centre remains a vibrant, accessible space with long-term value for the community.
