We are committed to extending our positive impact beyond the construction site.

Support for local communities has long been at the heart of the BADGE organisation, and our people are proud to contribute their efforts to a variety of causes.

Our commitment to improve our communities takes shape through partnerships, sponsorships and donations. Alongside short-term charitable work, each BADGE state office has a close relationship with a key charity, ensuring that our support is tangible, far-reaching, and long-lasting.

BADGE beneficiaries include:

  • Hutt St Centre
  • Impact 100 SA
  • Movember Foundation
  • Variety Club SA and QLD
  • Youth Opportunities SA

Hutt St Centre

BADGE has enjoyed a long relationship with the Hutt Street Centre – a frontline agency for Adelaide’s homeless and vulnerable people. Our staff participate in fundraising and volunteering, and have previously banded together with some valued subcontractors to update the Centre’s facilities.

In 2009 BADGE sponsored the centre’s inaugural Walk a Mile event, designed to raise awareness of homelessness in our community. We’ve been involved ever since, with the 2018 event raising $250,000 for the centre’s education programs thanks to thousands of walkers. Staff manning the BADGE BBQ – as it is now known – cooked over 3500 eggs and 130 kg of bacon for breakfast at the finish line!
