Support for local communities has long been at the heart of BADGE, and our people are proud to contribute their efforts to a variety of causes.

In 2018 we launched the BADGE Foundation, an initiative of Managing Director Jim Whiting, which formalises group donations and charitable support. Staff select charities to benefit from donations from a central fund, and drive engagement through volunteering and other in-kind activities.

Perth Homeless Support Group

In 2018, the Perth Homeless Support Group was selected as one of the initial charities to be supported by the BADGE Foundation. Our WA staff have thrown their support behind this small organisation which seeks to assist those who are living on the streets of Perth by distributing care packages.

In addition to financial support from the BADGE Foundation, WA staff have run two donation drives in both the office and on site to collect perishable and non-perishable items to include in the packages. They have also participated in packing and distribution sessions where care packages are handed out to those in need. Other fundraising initiatives include a baking competition, casual days and site BBQs.
