This design and construct project saw a new 1692m², two-storey learning centre at the existing Shailer Park State High School.

Due to the operational school site, works was completed in separable stages and portions to include:

Stage 1 – Design
Stage 2 – Separable Portion 1 (construction of General Learning Areas building)
Stage 2 – Separable Portion 2 (refurbishment to two existing science laboratories)

The main building was constructed using bored piers, reinforced concrete and structural steel frame. It includes a large breezeway through level 1, robotics labs, teacher and student breakout areas and open under croft area.

The two existing science laboratories were refurbished with new hydraulic and gas services, ceilings, flooring, and all new fixtures and furniture.
