BADGE SA is partnering with the City of Charles Sturt in Adelaide’s western suburbs to deliver an exciting new recreation destination for the local community.

The $20 million St Clair Recreation Centre redevelopment involves the demolition of the existing facility and the construction of a multi-use indoor recreation centre, car parking and outdoor community areas.

The heritage-listed section of the existing centre is being retained and re-modelled to include a gymnasium, sanitary facilities, consulting rooms and offices and meetings rooms for community groups.

The new addition to precinct will boast six indoor courts, fixed and retractable seating, associated amenities, café, function spaces and commercial kitchen and new car parking on the southern side of the facility. The outdoor areas including nature play, skate park and street basketball facilities.

This project is scheduled for completion later this year.
