The expansion of the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) Moreton Bay Campus by BADGE Constructions introduces three new buildings, bolstering teaching, research, and student leisure with eco-friendly construction techniques, including prefabricated engineered timber.

  • Client University of the Sunshine Coast
  • Location Moreton Bay
  • Value $75.4M
  • Contract Design & Construct, Early Contractor Involvement

Implemented through a Design & Construct approach, this project markedly enhances the campus’ capabilities with cutting-edge amenities such as PC2 laboratories, sports facilities, and a multi-level car park, demonstrating our dedication to pioneering and eco-conscious construction methods.

Positioned across from the campus’ original foundation building, the additional structures contribute an extra 12,500m2 to the pre-existing floor area, integrating specialised areas for clinical activities, nutrition and dietetics, sports, and research, further establishing UniSC Moreton Bay as a centre for scholarly distinction and community collaboration. This development ensures that the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) will possess even more bespoke spaces for teaching, research, sports, and partnership with the industry and community on key initiatives.
